VANCOUVER BOAT TOURS

The boat tour navigates through breathtaking scenery, including rugged coastlines, lush forests, and towering mountains. Guests can admire panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, capture stunning photos and the perfect opportunity for whale watching. Keep an eye out as you might have a great chance of spotting humpback whales, killer whales, seals, sea lions, porpoises, and various seabird species such as bald eagles, ospreys, and cormorants. 

Our knowledgeable guides onboard provide commentary about the history and wildlife of Howe Sound. They will share fascinating facts about the area’s marine life, and conservation efforts.

You’ll surely appreciate the complimentary soups, and snacks we have onboard. We also want to keep you hydrated throughout your trip with our complimentary water, coffee, and tea options. 

Unlike taking a larger cruise, or an open Zodiac, our boat is a 30ft. aluminum boat, Transport Canada approved. It is safe and reliable, comfortable benches, and a marine toilet. It is covered so it provides ideal protection from the elements, with large openings ideal for viewing and photography.

We can offer private charters, marine film and video production, marine research, custom pickup and drop-off & marine transportation.

Important notes

Our boat tours regularly sell out. To avoid missing out, we highly recommend booking as soon as possible.

• Please arrive at the Horseshoe Bay Public Dock by 4:00 PM for departure. We’ll return to the dock around 6:00 PM.

– Weather can be unpredictable and sometimes it’s necessary to cancel for safety. In case of cancellation you can choose to get a full refund, to reschedule, or to join an alternative adventure.

Booking Policy

• Full upfront payment is required for boat tours.
• Changes more than 5 days before departure: Free rescheduling, Full credit, or Full refund.
• 3 to 5 days before departure: Free rescheduling, Full credit, no refunds.
• Within 3 days of departure: Full charter cost due.

Safety

• Guests are required to adhere to crew instructions and prioritize safety for all onboard.
• Guests affirm they are in sound health, free from heart conditions.
• Proficiency in understanding English is required for safety comprehension.
• Completion of a Guest Waiver is mandatory for all guests before departure (orange button on this page).
• PNW Expeditions is not liable for accidents or injuries resulting from poor judgment.

Cancellations / Refunds

• We provide full refunds if a booking is cancelled by us by no fault of your own (ie. due to weather, safety, mechanical issues, etc) or you may reschedule for later date.
• We do not provide refunds for  seasickness, poor visibility, or suboptimal weather.
